What is the itinerary for the trip?
Day 1 – Our trip of a lifetime begins with our departure from New York to Tel Aviv.
Day 2 – We will arrive in Tel Aviv and transfer to our hotel in Netanya for dinner and overnight
Day 3 – We will depart for Galilee, visiting the following Biblical sites: Caesarea Maritima (Acts 9 & 25), Mt Carmel (1 Kings 18), Megiddo (Armageddon; 1 Kings 9:15; Revelation 16:16), and Nazareth – Mount of Precipice (Luke 1 & 2). We will then proceed to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – We will rise at our hotel on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. Today will include many biblical sites along the Sea of Galilee including Capernaum (Matthew 4:13), Mount of Beatitudes (Matthew 5-7), Tabgha (Feeding of the 5,000; Mark 6), Church of Peter’s Primacy (John 21); The Jesus Boat exhibit; We will have a St Peter’s Fish lunch and end our day with a sunset boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. We will then overnight again in Tiberias.
Day 5 – We will wake up again to the sunrise on the Sea of Galilee. Today we will visit many more biblical sites in the Upper Jordan Valley including Caesarea Philippi (Mark 8:27), Mount Hermon (Deuteronomy 3:8), Banaias Waterfall, Tel Dan and Nature Reserve, Border of Lebanon (Joshua 11:17), and Hazor (Joshua 11:10; 1 Kings 9:15). Again we will have dinner and overnight in Tiberias.
Day 6 – We will depart Tiberias and head to Beit Shean where they bodies of Saul and Jonathan were desecrated, to visit the excavations of this Decapolis City. Here we will walk the ancient street, view the Roman baths, theater, coliseum, market and temples. We will then proceed to Jericho which is the biblical city of pam trees located almost 900 feet below sea level (Deuteronomy 34:1-3). We will visit the tel of this oldest city and view the traditional mountain of Jesus’ temptation. We will then ascend the winding road along Wadi Qilt, stopping for a look at St George’s Monastery before heading to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – Today we proceed to Bethlehem passing by Rachel’s tomb on the outskirts of town. We will visit the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherd’s Field. While in the area we will go to the burial place of Herod the Great, the Herodium Palace with a view overlooking Bethlehem. From there we will go to the Israel Museum including a 1:50 scale model of Jerusalem at the time of Herod the Great. We will also visit the Shrine of the Book Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed. We will then have dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 8 – We will enter Jerusalem through the Dung Gate and walk to the holiest site in the whole Jewish world…The Western (Wailing) Wall; At this point we will enter the Rabbinical Tunnel where we get as close to the temple as allowed without being on the Temple Mount. Here you will see the foundation stones of Herod’s wall surrounding the Temple Mount. When we exit the Rabbinical Tummel we will make our way to the southern steps of the Temple. We will see the southern entrance for the Temple Mount and view the pinnacle of the Temple area from which Jesus was tempted by Satan. Beyond the wall lies the 35 acre temple area purchased by King David (2 Samuel 24:18-25) on which today stands the Dome of the Rock (the 3rd holiest shrine in all of Islam); From the temple area we will go to St Stephen’s Gate, the Sister of Zion Convent (the pavement where Jesus stood while on trial before Pilate); Follow the Via Dolorosa where Jesus carried His cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher built over the sight of Jesus’ death. We will then visit the Upper Room where Jesus spent those last momentous hours with His disciples before is passion and where the Holy Spirit came down on Pentecost. We will visit the house of Caiaphas where Jesus was tried and Peter denied his Lord. We will then have dinner and overnight in Jerusalem
Day 9 – Leaving Jerusalem, we will descend down to the Dead Sea and the wilderness of Judah. We will take a cable car up to Masada, the fortress built by King Herod; Following the road north along the western shore of the Dead Sea, we will stop at Ein Gedi, the oasis where
Day 10 – We will visit the Mt of Olives; The Church of the Ascension; and the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed in agony. We will celebrate communion at the garden tomb, visit St Peter’s gate and the Pool of Bethesda.
Day 11 – We will offer special options that you can choose to be part of or just enjoy the city of
Day 12 – We will depart from Jerusalem after breakfast and proceed to the Tel Aviv airport for our flight back to New York and the close of a true trip of a lifetime.

What is the cost of this trip?
The cost for the entire trip is just $3985 per person (based on double occupancy). The price is based on air rates of 2011 and is subject to change when final rates are confirmed in December 2011.
The final price will include all of the following:

Are there any “early bird” discounts for those who register in advance?
There is a $150.00 Early Bird discount when you register with full payment by October 12, 2011. For those not paying their full deposit up front, early bird discounts are also available for those paying their initial deposit of $500.00 based on the following:
- $100.00 discount if paid 12 months in advance
- $90.00 discount if paid 11 months in advance
- $80.00 discount if paid 10 months in advance
- $70.00 discount if paid 9 months in advance
- $60.00 discount if paid 8 months in advance
- $50.00 discount if paid 7 months in advance

Are passports required?
Yes, all tour members must have a valid passport.

You must fill out a separate registration form for each traveller and mail it along with a $500.00 deposit per person made out to Imagine Tours and Travel, LLC to:
